Command Grab Bags

• Introduced at all levels of command
• Relevant items to role
• Allows ability to remain flexible
• Must be maintained and updated
• Sealed until deployed
• Knowledge of existence

The grab bags need to be Introduced at all levels of command with items relevant to role.  The bags allow the ability to remain flexible in regards to location of command and again should only contain items that will enable the specific level of command to operate.  It is essential that the bags are checked as part of a daily task, as well as updated when required. It is highly recommended that the bags are sealed after every check and a maintenance record kept to ensure integrity of the bag.

Most importantly, those who would need access to such equipment need to be aware of their existence as part of the command/role training cycle, in particular what it contains and how it is accessed in an emergency.
